With a background in dance and a long history of teaching group exercise, this evolved into a passion for Pilates and in 2007 I started to teach Pilates. 

I understand the powerful benefits of practising Pilates on a personal level. I had experienced constant pain from a rotated pelvis for many years and it was only through my continued learning that I have been able to apply this to my own body.  Now with regular focus and body awareness, I am living pain free!

"I enjoy teaching Pilates with a passion. Seeing individuals become more aware of their body & posture, really inspires me to teach. Most aches and pains occur when the body is out of alignment. Moving with control and core stability, gaining mobility in tight joints, building functional strength, and stretching through the whole body is a great way to exercise safely."

"To get an idea of what 'mindfulness' is all about and to appreciate how valuable it could be, was really useful. I think it could be life changing (hence the reason for booking onto your 6 week course!).  

 

The meditation was amazing to be honest. My mind usually wanders off frequently during 'relaxation' at the end of yoga. During meditation with you, my mind completely stopped wandering and I was totally relaxed. 

 

The whole experience was totally fulfilling.  I don't know if it's in my imagination, but I seem to be more relaxed since (even when decorating with my husband !!!)."
